LEGION OF MARY - A JOURNEY OF FAITH AND SERVICE
The Legion of Mary has a cherished history in our Parish, Shrine of Our Lady of Good Health, Khairtabad. The Legion of Mary was active during the time of Late Rev. Fr. Roch Xavier.
And later, in 1983, the Legion of Mary was established once again by Rev. Fr. Prem Raj, with 25 members, continuing its mission of prayer, service and devotion to Our Blessed Mother Mary.
On 16th February 2023, the Legion of Mary was renewed with 28 new members by Rev. Fr. Michael Selvaraj, marking a new chapter in its journey of faith and service.
Since then, the Legionaries have continued their mission with renewed enthusiasm and dedication through prayer, service and apostolic activities.
They visit the sick, pray with and for those who are dying, reach out to people in need and participate in activities of the Church, including cleaning and sweeping and maintaining the Church premises.
They have visited the Home for the Disabled, many families in the parish. and retired and elderly Sisters of Charity at Bandlaguda.
Rev. Fr. Dwijesh is our Spiritual Director. The Legion holds its Legion meeting twice month, where members come together for prayer, reflection, planning of apostolic activities and sharing their experiences of service.
