Regarding the Lectors Group at Shrine Khairatabad, the ministry was initially led by Mario Sebastian, Sebastian Ferro, Noah Israel, Ida Ferro and Sophie, along with other dedicated members who supported and assisted them in this service.
Later, Joseph Sunny continued the responsibility of coordinating and allotting Lectors from the year 2006 onwards.
In 2019, a WhatsApp group was formed to coordinate the Lectors Ministry more effectively. Over the years, Xavier Arokia Swamy, Maria, Margaret Israel, Priscilla, Maria Laveena, and Mercy Francis also generously helped in coordinating and allotting lectors for the Sunday Masses, as well as for all the main Masses, feasts, and solemnities.
The Shrine Khairatabad has always been blessed with dedicated members who willingly come forward to serve in this ministry. Through their commitment and service, they help the congregation listen to the Word of God and experience His love, mercy, and grace in every step of their lives.
The Lectors Ministry continues to be a meaningful and dedicated service, helping the faithful deepen their faith and strengthen their relationship with God through His Holy Word.
